Group Class Descriptions

AB/Core Class
Walk taller, feel stronger! These classes are designed to build core muscle groups while improving posture through performing a variety of exercises that strengthen the abdomen and back muscles and increase flexibility. The instructor may include a variety of equipment in this great workout.
Benefits: Improved posture • Improved balance • Improved strength • Improved flexibility • Improved cardio endurance.

Barre Classes
Barre class uses a combination of postures inspired by yoga, pilates, and ballet. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises. This class is low impact on your joints and is designed to lengthen muscles, create flexibility, balance and increase muscle endurance. While every class offered is appropriate for all levels each will provide a different fusion of fitness choices. With these classes you can wear shoes, go barefoot or wear socks with rubber grips. Each exercise can be adapted to your level of comfort to make it your workout!
BASIC BARRE: A basic Barre class using the Barre, small hand weights, straps, exercise balls, mats, and resistance bands to shape your body. This class is open to all fitness levels and abilities. (Will be back in the fall.)
STRENGTH BARRE MIXER: Quick paced class with focus on Strength.
SILVER BARRE MIXER: Slow pace class with focus on flexibility, balance and for those having trouble getting on the floor—a no floor core workout.

Boot Camp Fitness
Get your heart rate up and sweat your butt off in Dustin’s boot camp class. This class utilizes traditional boot camp and agility moves along with some inventive new variations. Come have fun and get a great workout at the same time!

Cardio Core
Cardio Core Class effectively interweaves cardio intervals with core strengthening exercises. The core exercises are selected and vary in nature in order to hit all of the hardest parts to tone. The cardio intervals keeps your heart rate up and your calorie burn high. This class is suited for all fitness levels, designed to operate at each person’s own pace in order to achieve the individual’s personal fitness goals.

Circuit Burner Class
A fast-paced class which combines a strength and an aerobic routine into one workout. You do one exercise for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then move on to another exercise. Each exercise is totally adaptable to the individual.

Circuit Cardio and Strength Class-4 week session

This circuit style interval class combines cardio and strength exercises into a 60 minute class. Workouts are designed to push you but at the same time can be modified to any fitness level. Early Risers’ Circuit Burner Class,
You know what they say, “The early bird gets the worm.” Come in before your work day and get that workout done! The class will be mostly strength, some endurance and cardio challenges set at your own pace. What is a circuit class? In a circuit class, the studio is set up with various exercise stations. You’ll move around each station spending 30 to 40 seconds at each exerecise before moving onto the next, all under the watchful eyes of your trainer. You will go through the circuit three times. Class size is limited so early sign up is recommended.

Foxy Ladies Group and Silver Foxes Group
Have fun and work hard in a safe, comfortable, and encouraging environment. Laugh and lift (though not at the same time), and enjoy personal attention from an experienced instructor who can accommodate varied abilities and limitations. Classes are set up as a circuit where you work at your own pace to meet your fitness goals with guidance from your instructor and encouragement from classmates. You'll work hard and have fun. Foxy Ladies Fitness Class—50+ never looked or felt so good!

Gentlemen’s Group Class
This class is specifically designed to meet the needs of men over 50. This class focuses on functional strength training, core work, and flexibility. These aspects of fitness are essential as we age if we want to keep our bodies capable of our favorite activities like golfing, biking, hiking, and skiing.

Powertone Class
A 60 minute class that works every major muscle group in your body. This class improves both muscle endurance and muscle strength with the use of weights, bands, tubing, and stability balls.

Stretch Them Muscles Class!-4 week session

Everyone can benefit from stretching. Stretching helps improve flexibility, increases range of motion, reduces the risk of injury and even great for stress relief! In this 30-minute class, Lisa will lead the group through a total body stretching routine. So give your muscles some TLC and STRETCH ‘EM! All fitness levels.
